I love God and God's people and am passionate about the clear and relevant teaching of the Bible as it applies to real life. I hope what you hear on Sunday helps you live Monday through Saturday. While pursuing my doctorate, I focused on SHAPE-based ministry. This training has deepened my commitment to helping people find God's unique call for their lives and grow in areas of greater influence. I enjoy basketball, vintage VW buses, and loose-leaf teas. And I'm still goofy-in-love with my wife and incurably proud of my kids.

Hi. I am Geoff Horn and I am an associate pastor at Green Valley Church. I lead the High School Ministry, oversee and teach GVCU classes, and sometimes fill in for Doug (preaching) or David (worship leading). I am married to an awesome woman, Holly, and I have three boys, Jackson, Will and Samuel. December 1998 was a good month for me; I started working at GVC and got married two weeks later. I love sports, video games, random humor, stupid movies, hanging out with my family, traveling, playing guitar and learning. I love people (especially young people) and I love watching people grow in their relationship with Jesus.

hello. i've had the opportunity to lead the worship arts ministry at GVC since 2006, and i am so grateful that God has placed me here. i love the people here, the community around, and the work that God is doing in and through those who are seeking Him.

I was born in Michigan. I graduated in civil engineering from Michigan State University where I became a Christian my junior year. I was on the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ for 12 years followed by 20 years of owning a financial services business. At Green Valley Church, I do the counseling and lead the adult ministries. I have been on the staff since 2000 and I was the chaplain of the San Diego Padres 1999-2012. My wife, Cindy, and I have three children and four grandchildren. I love sports and studying the Bible.

I lead the junior high and high school groups with a love for Christ, young people, and fun. I grew up here at GVC and was a volunteer youth leader for many years.

I am happily married to my wife, Amy and it’s the best thing ever. I'm a graduate from Colorado Christian University and enjoy surfing, mountain biking, and snowboarding.

Hi. I have been a part of the GVC family for almost 6 yrs. now and am thrilled to now be on staff. I am a graduate from Biola University where I got my B.A. in Christian Education Ministries. I am married to my college sweetheart, Ronnie. We are big Charger fans and love living in San Diego! As a wife, new mom, teacher, and follower of Jesus, my passion is to help families be committed to following God and serving Him in all areas of their lives.

I love serving at GVC because it combines my love of God with working with children. My husband, Ken, and I moved to San Diego in 2007 and were delighted when we found GVC. We have two boys, Nicholas & Caleb, and a third child on the way! During our off time (when the kids are with Nana & Papa) Ken and I love to go adventuring through America's National Parks. It amazes me to see spectacularly beautiful places only God can take credit for creating. I also enjoy being creative, reading, and competitive running and triathlon.
